Kourtney graduated from the University of North Dakota with her Bachelors in Psychology and certificate in behavioral health in 2019. In 2023, she graduated from Capella University with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

 

She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient psychiatric hospitals as a mental health technician. She is very passionate about building a therapeutic relationship with any age range of kids to address concerns of mental health issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. In her practice she strives to meet the client where they are at by utilizing different integrative approaches such as play, art, sandtray, non-directive talk therapy, TF-CBT, and brainspotting.

When she is not working, Kourtney enjoys spending time with her two dogs, NaKoa (Koa) and Bumper, as well as her friends and family. She also enjoys reading, hiking, hunting, working out, and is an avid Disney fan.
